My girlfriend & I have "been around" - we've seen good, and we've seen bad and all that's between. Our cruise on the Inspiration was in all categories above-average and at times, WELL above-average; such as with room service, room steward, dining, and recreational & social activities.
For those who are about to cruise for their first time, may I please suggest that you try to understand the mindset, or personal mental state of some reviewers that say they absolutely hated their Inspiration experience. Putting it delicately, let's face it: Some people are not satisfied with stewards supplying the toilet tissue; these cruisers-from-hell insist on having someone 'clean' them too.
Sure, some gripes are legit - this is not a perfect world, but one reviewer hated the Inspiration because he/she didn't see the steel band that was on one of this cruiser's OTHER cruises!!!
