Although the weather report posted on this web site of July 24th said that TS Franklin was no threat, RCCL thought that it was. The ship's destination was altered at noontime the day of sailing. Instead of a warm, albeit rocky day at sea, and beautiful pink beaches of Bermuda, the decision was made to send us NORTH to New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. Average temp. in the Am 42-48 degrees F with gale force winds (wind chill maybe high 30's?) and the afternoon temps never reached above 70 degrees. We were fogged in for three days with no winter clothes! Okay, RCCl didn't want anything bad to happen to us...but we could have just sailed south for 3 days and turned around.
Enough tirades about the itinerary change and more about the ship..Food in main dining room excellent as was the wait staff...food in the grill/buffet area-a cross between school lunch and Hometown Buffet (very unappetizing)...
Entertainment was sophomoric and less than entertaining...Ice show was nice...
