We booked this trip as a graduation present for my son. We took the kids on a trip last year for 4 days on the Carnival Fantasy. This time we thought to try a different line. And Royal Caribbean sounded nice.

We began our trip with a limo ride right from our front door to the port in Baltimore. This was worth every penny. No worries about luggage, parking, driving, etc. As a previous cruise guest on Carnival 2 times before we thought the embarkation process should be a breeze, which it was. The only disappointment was the pier in Baltimore. Seemed as though they used an empty warehouse for organizing the guests. Although it was fairly clean, after seeing the port at Port Canaveral it doesn't even come close to the wonderful welcome aboard feeling you get. Baltimore should work on that pier if they intend to keep leaving out of there.

The ship was beautiful, with the exception of the "dent" on the side of the ship (received in April 2005, docking into a port in Mexico). WE cannot say enough about the staff and how wonderful they were with our huge group of 12! The dinners were fabulous! From the room stewards, waiters, etc.
