We drove from Iowa to the cruise terminal in New Orleans; we actually arrived on Super Bowl Sunday! Traffic was tolerable, followed signs for parking, very organized, no problems. Walked around the Riverwalk for a little bit. Embarkation was extremely easty and fast, no waiting at all! We booked a balcony room which was fine. Size of shower was a pleasant surprise, plenty of space to put clothes between drawers and closet. They do need to upgrade the TV and wish there was another outlet in the bathroom.

This ship is nice, good shows in a very pretty theatre, liked the gym, tried a few exercise classes, good instructors. The main atrium is nice but they try to do too much which creates a lot of congestion (photographers everywhere and tables set up trying to sell "stuff"). Pool area is nice, usually two different areas to eat at. No trouble finding chairs to sit in. It would be nice if they had another "quiet/adult pool". Buffet was typical/normal buffet food, should be something for everyone. They need a separate area for people to refill their water bottles as this caused lines while people are trying get their food.

We tried two different restaurants that had a cover charge. Steakhouse was good, Italian was OK, not impressed with the flavor of the food. Tried fish 2 different times in 2 of the regular restaurants and it was always dry and overcooked. Best dessert was the chocolate buffet and the chocolate fountain!
