We sailed on Voyager on the 9 night cruise to Noumea and Lautoka. Due to mechanical problems in Noumea, we were unable to sail on to Fiji. (More about this later).

According to staff at the Meet and Mingle, there were 3400 passengers on board. Surprisingly, the ship never felt crowded and queues were rare, and fast moving. On several occasions I looked down into the Promenade to only see about a dozen people walking around. Also, there were plenty of deck chairs available , far more than on past cruises with half as many passengers.

Our cabin, a grand suite on Deck 10 was amazing with so much storage, the three of us could not fill it. The bathroom was huge and again, well appointed with ample storage - better than most hotels. Our balcony had a table and two chairs plus a lounger that was great to read on. The best views from Sydney and Noumea were on the starboard side. In Sydney, you had the Opera House and in Noumea, the port (not very pretty), but also the marina, mountains and water. On the port side it was the nickel mine which was awful.

Cabin Review

Cabin 1260 was great. Very roomy with excellent amount of hanging space, drawers and cabinets. The balcony had a table and two chairs plus a lounger that was great to read on.

The cabin was not noisy at night. The only time we had noise from the pool deck was on the evening of the pool party when we could hear the bass from the music and deck chairs scrapping. We didn't hear anything when they were cleaning the deck.
