Do not know where to start but we found everything but the entertainment terrible! The free style dinning let us every night with poor service; long waits before coffee and dessert. We felt that the staff already knew they were getting paid so why bother? We were not giving the opportunity to not tip them as this is automatically placed on your account each day.

The population was extremely old! I know that this is not Norwegians fault but my God, all the scooters, walkers, and canes became a safety hazard for everyone else. Way too many passengers for the size of ship, it seemed.

Another area that we found truly amazing was that the tv in our room was older, tube type, 11 inch screen, with only four or five stations; only two were movies and they replayed over and over!

Cabin Review

Family Balcony

Cabin B2

Very small balcony room! TV was antiquated, a small 11 inch tube type on the shelf. Flat screen TVs are so inexpensive now, and the Jewel still has this awful tv in service. Edges of carpet around room was not vacuumed, center of floor was clean but no effort taken for cleaning edges!
