We started our vacation 4 days before the cruise. Our first night we stayed at the intercontinental in Papeete, the next day we got up and left to catch the ferry to Moorea. We arrived in Moorea and went over to Avis to rent our car for our stay. We stayed for 3 nights at the Sofitel in an overwater bungalow. What a relaxing time we had we snorkelled from our bungalow and went for drives, made it up to Belvedere, Juice factory, tiki village and would eat most of our meals off the resort. We enjoyed ourselves so much the Sofitel was perfect, snorkelling excellent. We took the ferry back to Papeete on Sunday to start our cruise. Our first impressions were wow, the ship is beautiful. the food on the ship is excellent, if you like lobster be prepared to get your fill. The specialty restaurants were also excellent, we went to all 4 and our favourite was Red Ginger.

We took 1 private tour in Bora Bora, we did the combo tour with Patrick, it was our favourite, we can actually saybwe have swam with sharks, if you have a bad back I would not suggest the 4 x 4 part I would just do the snorkelling, we had a blast it was non stop laughing, we did get stuck but got pulled out by another 4 x 4.

The rest of our excursions were with Oceania and were very good as well. We did the Motu picnic in Huahine which was very good.
