The staff on board the cruise starting with Captain Roger Gustavsen and hotel director Steve Knott were all excellent. Special thanks to Assistant Maitre ' D Nelson Toreja, Assistant Maitre ' D Roel Saballegue, Assistant Maitre ' D Rochelle Dayrit. There service was excellent every day.
I must also thank the food and beverage director Vitor Da Silva and Sicat(sunshine) Erano for making our cruise so wonderful. We have sailed on so many different cruises and this ship by far had the best staff we have ever experienced. So much attention to detail and the head chef Tyson was a fabulous chef!
We dined in Le Bistro and the food was very good not to mention the fantastic dessert. We have now found our favorite ship to sail on. We cant wait to go back out an the Gem again.
Our cabin was fine and we had no issues with obstructed view as we do not spend much time in our cabin.
