Carnival Breeze Cruise Review by panther440
- Sail Date: February 2013
- Destination: Western Caribbean
The embarkation was very smooth and fast. I would see no reason to pay for first to board. We spent maybe 30 min total for the whole process and we got there at 11am. Checked out the ship signed up for the Cheers program and was off to eat. Guys burgers were very good, The Burrito great, Mongolian wok very good, had to wait some but not bad, Deli and Pizza was OK. Buffet never had long lines and food was different and very good. Room service was fast and very good. Dining room (Blush) we never had cold food. A couple of times order was mixed up, 3rd day they added a guy to our waiter who had been sick. No issue after that. Thought the new lay out and decor was great (Much much better than before)Punch-liner brunch was a nice change and really good food. Debarkation very smooth as well.Red Frog Pub was great, best servers on the boat in my opinion.
2 Times we smelled the funky sewer smell. The c side BBQ got rained out one day.People all complained but it was RAINING large BBQ grill with no lids getting full of water. Gee wonder why the couldn't do it. We did not go to any of the shows in the theater. We did go to the Comedy shows and I will say carnival has it set up wrong. Long lines blocking stairs and waiting over 45 min to see the show sucked. Once inside though very funny. My 2 cents move comedy back to theater where there was more room. Casino seemed smaller but was OK even though we didn't win.Was every waiter or bar person super friendly no, but they were not rude or unfriendly.
Our group talked about it and said a cruise is what you make of it. If you want to look for every little thing to bitch about then spend your time mad. If you go with the flow and accept there is going to be somethings you don't like and some things you love. People sometimes forget to relax and enjoy vacation time. You have to wait in line at most restaurants so why would a cruise ship be different?
Port & Shore Excursion Reviews
Antiguaour least favorite port. To busy to many people wanting to give you taxi ride. More Taxi people than any other island we have ever been to.View All 1,278 Antigua Cruise Port Reviews
