Sail Date: Feb 2013
Cabin: Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Our first time with Royal Caribbean. Took the Navigator of the Seas on 2/02/2013. We were SO IMPRESSED with EVERYBODY on the Ship. Their service(attentiveness, sincerity, politeness and professionalism) is better than Crystal Cruises' ! We had a Balcony cabin on Deck 9. Balcony and interior spaces were larger than their competitors(Carnival and NCL-7day cruise from New Orleans). Quality of bedlinens and bath towels were better. Had more than enough storage spaces. We liked the shower design. You take a shower in a round enclosed tube like space., so water does not splash outside of this space.

Sorry but I must write some negative points now:

Dining room menu was ordinary and lunch and dinner did not taste good. Carnival's dining room menu is much better. NCl was the second and RCL ranks 3rd on the quality of food.(I am comparing 3 cruises out of New Orleans).

Cabin Review

Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D2

Cabin # 9526 was spacious. Balcony and interior space were much larger than Carnival and NCl ships sailing out of New Orleans. Quality of bedlinens and towels were better. More than enough storage space for two people. We liked the shower space. Unlike the competitor's(Plastic Curtain for the shower), you take a shower in an enclosed Tube like space. The curved sliding doors open and shut tight so water does not escape from the shower. Your bathroom floor is always dry.
