Embarkation at Port Canaveral was extremely smooth. We flew in the day before and rented a car. It was very easy to find the port and we pulled right up to the luggage drop off. We went through security and check in very quickly and were on the ship within 30 minutes despite a large number of people arriving at the same time.

We had booked a 4A (Riviera Deck) guarantee and got upgraded to a 4E (Veranda Deck). The ship was very large, but most of the time, it did not seem excessively crowded. You were always able to find an open deck chair, though those around the pool went quickly. The lines for food at the Lido Deck restaurant were usually quite short.

Food: The food aboard was quite good. The Lido Deck restaurant (Red Sail) always had 4 buffet lines open, 2 with standard food and 2 with the "Taste of Nations." Food at these was of average quality, though quite abundant and the lines were usually short. There were also three other options; Chinese, Deli and Fish 'n Chips. The Chinese was ok, though I can get better at home. The deli was excellent and as previous people have said, the Reuben sandwiches are exquisite. They also have a great smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel. The Fish 'n Chips was also very good. They had several cold seafood salads and your choice of freshly
