We just returned from a 5 day cruise aboard the Carnival Fascination. We embarked without any problem at all. Once aboard the ship we were able to check into our cabin right away, however it was about 2 hours before some of our luggage arrived and then another hour before the rest of it arrived. The room was fine, closet space was very good, but for the cruise line to say that we had a balcony, was a gross exaggeration. It had two chairs and a table on it, but you could not move on the balcony unless you moved the chairs around so you could at least get your body between the chair and the railing. It was probably 3x6 and the view was not very good either.

I think our biggest disappointment on the ship was the food. The burger/hot dog grill had cold food and the fries were cold each time we had them. Not everyone likes the same food and two days the Lido Deck had food that was not to my liking...one day French and the other day Carribean and we heard others saying the same thing. I know that people go to "Party" aboard Carnival Cruise Lines, but this was not spring break, however, there were plenty of drunken people on board. When others like to try to enjoy the sunshine and relax it is diffcult when you have a party of six next to you that started drinking when the sun came up. I know that is not Carnivals fault, but they should have some type of security to prevent this. Some people were so drunk that they were actually falling down. This is not my type of vacation.

Cabin Review

OK room...balcony way to small, closet space good for two people, hallway noisy
