Six of us sailed out of Tampa on 1-20-13 pm Norwegian Dawn headed for the Western Caribbean. Embarkation on the ship was fast and everyone was very pleasant. Once on board we went to the dinning room for lunch which was very good with great service. After lunch 13:30 we were pleasantly surprised to find that our cabins were ready. First time we have ever been able to get into our cabin that early. Great turn over time for the crew.
Went to the Aqua for dinner, crowed but went to the piano bar to wait and just happened to noticed that the Restaurant Manager for the ship was one we had sailed with on the Star and he hooked up us with a quicker dining option. Went to Aqua each night got a pager and went to the piano bar to have a drink and listen to great piano music with great waitress, The waitress was one we knew from the Star. It is great when you see crew members that you have cruised with before.
The Dawn was well kept with fresh looking paint and well kept public areas. Crew was very friendly and attentive to your needs. Best Cabin Steward that we have ever had and we were in the cheap cabins.
Cabin was adequate as we did not expect to bee in it except to sleep and change. Bed was harder than other lines. Cabin lay out was fine and shower was roomy.
