Had a great time leaving from Ft. Lauderdale. Since we are Platinum, we had special check in. Had a great balconey cabin on Aloha Deck. Travelled with another couple in next cabin. Joined in many of the trivia contests on board and even won one. Food was good and entertainment was good expecially the comedian. Ship was in good shape although we were told that it would be going into drydock for refurbishing. Had anytime dining and asked for same waiter each night. He was helpful always giving suggestions for the meal. Ports were not too great especially Costa Rica. Wasn't told it was the rainy season and we were not prepared. Could not even get off tour bus at one point, it was raining so badly.
Everything going well, having a great time until last day when we discovered money was stolen from our locked safe in our locked stateroom. Contacted security who did thorough search to no avail. Never received an apology or inquiry from Head of Security or Hotel Manager. Contacted Princess in CA when we returned and after many phone calls and correspondence, we were told they are not responsible for anything LOCKED in the safe and nothing was even offered as a good faith gesture. Travellers beware, cruise lines are not responsible for anything you put in a safe provided by them. Although we have sailed Princess many times before and it was our favorite cruise line, unfortunately, we will NEVER sail with them again.
Balcony was comfortable with two chairs. We opened panel between the next cabin as our friends were traveling with us. Plenty of closet space. Shower very small.
