This was our 8th cruise on Celebrity and it was, as expected, wonderful. The new Solstice class are beautiful in the Celebrity mode, with wonderful original art and an over all elegant feel. Service was outstanding, as it has been on all of our cruises on Celebrity. We found the new menus to be pleasantly update, with the lamb and beef exceptional. We had the optional dining rather than traditional fixed time seating and found it to be very efficient. I was a bit concerned that the dining room service would not beep up to the highest standard, but it was. Celebrity always has a fine wine selection, with many reasonably priced selection.

Cabin was fine, well thought out, but the mattress needed replacing, although the is a relatively new ship. Overall the ship was clean and very well maintained.

Entertainment was "cruise line" standard, but the string trio was excellent and the on board lecturers were interesting, of course there were the annoying photographers and a few other minor irritants but the ship ad experience was wonderful. Read more
