Ryndam Cruise Review by KSHII2
- Sail Date: December 2012
- Destination: Western Caribbean
Also, we always eat at the late seating and large tables. The dinning room food was quite a disappointment and far below previous HAL meals. Due to slow service, it took forever to finish a dinner. It seems they have reduced the number of servers. Some people changed dining reservations as they were missing the late night entertainment. Why they wanted to go see the crew sing and perform is beyond me.. Very poor entertainment on all levels.. Next we bought the Night at Le Cirque. While the food was excellent, the service was poor, very poor. If Le Cirque knew the level of service they are providing, they might withdraw their name...
The ship was not decorated (Christmas cruise) as in the past.. We used the valet parking at the HAL terminal and when we arrived they only had two people trying to serve 1,200+ people, a lot who chose valet parking. The other on-board activities that we WOULD recommend are the wine tastings.

Costa MayaAgain we have been here before, but there is so much to do. We again used "Island Marketing" (internet)and had a GREAT day at the beach, just a short ride from the ship, including OPEN bar and food all day... They gave us lounge chairs, umbrellas and non motorized beach equipment.View All 1,901 Costa Maya Cruise Port Reviews

Key WestWhile we did not go on any "excursion" in Key West this trip, we did visit the Mel Fisher Museum and highly recommend it. Also, we ate at a place new to us "Hog's Breath Grill" and enjoyed it a lot.. On a prior trip, we visited a local eatery, "B.O.'s Fish Wagon" and again, recommend it if you like conch and other seafood.View All 1,451 Key West Cruise Port Reviews

RoatanHave been here several times. Booked a new tour to the east end of the island and had a GREAT guide and good time... "Island Marketing" (not thru the ship)provided us with two very enjoyable excursions. There is a lot to see and do if you get away from the ship's providers. Only draw back is they have to meet you outside the Port area and it is a long walk up hill most of the way. We did find you can get a taxi inside the port to take you there for $2 per person.View All 2,527 Roatan Cruise Port Reviews

TampaOur only complaint at this facility (HAL)is the valet parking was woefully understaffed. We live only 30 minutes away from the port and find it convenient and usually no waitingView All 484 Tampa Cruise Port Reviews
