Sail Date: Dec 2012
Cabin: Deluxe Ocean-View Verandah Stateroom

The Eurodam and crew, represent their signature of excellence. As this was our 5th cruise with HAL, the Eurodam was the most impressive.

ENTERTAINMENT: The main stage entertainment was excellent. The singers and dancers performed wonderfully and really put their heart into it. The Adagio strings are accomplished musicians and were enjoyed by many. The HAL cats needed a bit more experience in this case, although they tried. The guitar and some c/w in the crows nest appealed to a very few and was out of place.

FACILITIES: Well maintained and clean. The aft pool had a major problem one evening and was serviced fast by the capable crew. It was up and running by morning. Hot tubs were actually hot and pool temp. was good. The aft pool staff ensured the pool there was for 'adult use only'. They did a great job and so they should. Although the mid lido pool is very cluttered with cabanas, chairs etc, it's still very generous for kids and families. The aft pool area should be for 'adult use only' and have much better signage. In contrast the Westerdam had kids all over the aft pool and hot tubs; some wearing diapers. Don't go on that ship if you are planning an adult type of holiday.

Cabin 8073 is very very noisy. It's located under the Lido. Avoid it.
