WOW WOW WOW! Bigger is better. There were so much to do every day, if you are bored it was realy your own fault. Very, very, very friendly staff and the best cruise director ever. Great variety of shows, 3D movies etc etc.
Was worried that with 3500 passengers it might be a bit overcrowded. No way, always a seat next to the pool or somewhere on the deck, or a quite bar area. Loved the adults only pool.
Bought the soft drink package, but not best saving unless you drink loads of coke every day. Reason is that breakfast you get coffee and lunch and dinner in the buffet restaurant you get free lemonade, berry juice or ice tea. Note there is no 30 flavour coke machine on the Voyager as advertised.
Buffet restaurant had the biggest variety of food we have ever seen on the 4 ships we have been on, and fresh and the most meat ever. Fantastic lamb chops!
Service and food in main dining room was very very good. Only pain was we are used to dinner and then immediately show, but on this cruise if you have dinner at 18:00, the show is only at 21:00.
Yes the carpets are in places in need of replacement maybe, realy nothing serious.
Dissapointing was the spa. We always visit the spa, but this cruise it was realy rediculously priced, so we stayed away. More than double compared to prices on land.
Johnny Rockets, nice, but only worth one visit. You have to pay $5 and basically get singing waiters for the $5. You can make your own burgers better at the grill buffet. You have to pay for milkshakes on top.
Excursions was good, but prices a bit high for what you get. Hobart we were told you can only get to town by coach costing $30 so we booked an excursion for the same price, but when we got of the ship, there were loads of free shuttles waiting.
We did unassisted disembaraktion in Sydney and after docking at 06:00 we were in the airport taxi at 06:55.
It was definitly the first cruise company we felt we will try again in future and recommend to others. Closest to perfect, compared to Thomson, Costa and MSC.
