We have just finished our cruise to New Zealand on Voyager of the Seas. Let me first say that reviews saying the food was sub-standard are just complete rubbish! We had not one bad meal in 14 days we ate everywhere including windjammers.

Getting on and off the ship was a breeze so they must have done some work in that area after reading some of the earlier reviews. The ship was in alright condition but showed signs of wear and tear(not forgetting that it is 14 years old!). The bar staff, waiters & room attendants were so friendly in fact everybody was even when we did witness the ugly Aussie customer a couple of times. Why people have to treat staff like shit I'll never know.

Now to the negatives - Entertainment on the ship quite frankly was crap. Sub-standard in every way - We didn't go to many shows as it isn't our thing, but what of them we did see was forgettable. The guy in Schooners was just OK even if he did think he was fantastic. The guy in the Pig & Whistle was quite good but the Denise Canby Trio in High Notes, What can I say - What a load of crap they are! just REALLY, REALLY BAD cabaret! The other negative was the fact they ran out of Baileys,Madora and some other alcohol and didn't replenish it was outrageous!
