As Elite members, this cruise was planned as the highlight of a 7-week cruise experience on 3 different ships and cruise lines. Instead it turned out to be he biggest disappointment. Boarding was disorganized because photographs could not be taken at check-in. We were shunted to an outside deck and never welcomed on board or provided dirctions.

The dining room at dinner was so dark we could not read the menue and the tables were so close together that the waiters banged inot us whenever they brought food to our table or the one next to us. There was no parade of baked Alaska, we were told, because the aisles were too narrow.

There is a lack of storage space in the cabins and no clothesline in the shower. Often our towels were unravelling on the edges. While beautiful, the elevators are wider in back than in front so it is often difficult to get off without making every one else get out first. Read more
