Our cruise on the Majesty was our first, and certainly not our last. Having read many reviews and talked to friends who are avid cruisers, we booked a Junior Suite for the balcony and view. Our suite was midway between the Fitness Center and the central stairway leading up to the Windjammer Cafe making it easy to get a workout early each morning, shower in the room, get breakfast, and depart for early excursions in port. We chose to eat all of our evening meals in the main dining room, while other meals were in the Windjammer.

Coco Cay was the highlight of this short cruise. This small island owned by Royal Caribbean offers the opportunity to bask on the white sand beach with hundreds of people or by yourselves if you choose. My wife and I walked to the western side of the island and were alone with the exception of the abundant marine life in the clear, shallow waters around the island. We spent ours examining shells of every type. We spent most of the day soaking up the sun and relaxing before heading back to the southern tip of the island for lunch. A barbecue lunch was served from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.. The food was great and the atmosphere better. We knew that any other locations we saw would be anticlimactic after this paradise island.

The evening meals were absolutely wonderful. Our waiter and his assistant were consummate professionals. They quickly learned our likes and dislikes and catered to our needs during the entire cruise. The waiter provided his recommendations each evening. We found his guidance to be correct in every case. Several times he even brought other selections for us to sample along with the entree we chose. The quality of the food was impeccable, all prepared well and presented in a most attractive manner. We validated all of the stories we had heard about the great food and service on Royal Caribbean ships.
