This 4 day cruise from Galveston to Cozumel is the perfect getaway for a little time to share with grandchildren. We are experienced cruisers and it has been a LONG time since we have taken a 4 day cruise. My husband is hired by travel agencies to perform for private groups so we are on Carnival ships regularly. Being a non working cruise was a treat.

We spent time in the hot tub, exploring the ship from top to bottom and took advantage of Camp Carnival too. The staff onboard went out of their way for our 4 year old grandson. He has been on 4 cruises also so he loves the candy store and gift shops. The outdoor theater was fun and we enjoyed laying in the lounge chairs and watching the kid shows. We always have a balcony so he spent time out there just watching the sea.

You can not take a 4 day vacation and enjoy all of the comforts for what a cruise costs. Carnival is a great line for kids. The Camp Carnival staff are efficient and took exceptional care of our grandson. For anyone with small children thinking about cruising, this is your best bet. Enjoy cruising with little ones AND still have adult time.

Cabin Review

Balcony

I have to be honest about the cabin. The cabin needed some repairs. A couple of the lights did not work, shelves were missing in the cabinets, the TV remote only worked some of options (the on/off did not work) and the drain in the sink was really slow and leaked. We were on the 8th level and towards the back. It was extremely noisy.
