On a scale of 1-10, 10 being the best I would give this cruise about 6 1/2-7. It was a nine night cruise to Freeport Bahamas, Coco Cay, Bahamas, Key West, Cozumel and Port Canaveral. My husband and I did not think the food was that great and we did not find a whole lot to do during the days at sea. As far as the food goes, we did not find a big variety. The buffet in the Windjammer pretty much had the same things every night. The desserts we average. All the desserts with cake did not seem to be very fresh. They almost crumbled when you put your fork in them, they were not very moist. No fresh seafood was served in the Windjammer, no crab legs or shrimp. For as much as we paid for this cruise, you should have been able to get this at least one night. All the waiters were very friendly and always took away your dirty plates right away. On a scale of 1-5, 5 being the best, I would give the food about 2 1/2-3.
Entertainment was also just average. There was not a lot to do on days at sea. If there was a show and you did not want to go, there was really nothing else to do. They had bingo on the ship, but you had to pay an extra $35.00 just to play. My husband and I thought that was crazy! The casino was nice, but not everyone likes to spend money gambling. I do have to say that the comedian was pretty funny. On a scale of 1-5, 5 being the best I would give the entertainment about a 2.75
Excursions-The first stop on our vacation was Freeport Bahamas. Basically, this place sucked. We paid about $39.00 per person for a bus trip to do some shopping at the market place. Thought this would be fun. Our first stop was to a candle shop/gift shop. My living room is not that big and it was bigger than this place. About 10 min. later everyone was already on the bus. Then our bus driver drove us around for about 45 min. looking a homes that cost 50,000 to 1,000,000.00. I can drive a few miles from my home and see houses much more expensive. We were not impressed.
