In November 2012 our family consisting of five members, including two grandparents, a grand aunt, a daughter in law and a 12 year old granddaughter set sail on the Allure of the Seas.
We had been passengers on the Oasis of the Seas so the Allure was familiar to us but a pleasant surprise for the other members of the family. We had lovely balcony cabins overlooking the beautiful Caribbean Sea. We always try to sail during a full moon and this trip was no exception. It is an added treat to have the beautiful moonlight during the late evening hours. All the fun attractions on the ship were enjoyed by all of us and we especially had fun at Johnny Rockets enjoying the great crew members/servers dance and sing. They were lots of fun.
The "My Time" dining was exceptional with Gordon Pereira looking after us each evening. Our waiter and assistant waiter Bonaventura Pereira and Ivon Vase made sure we were well looked after. No matter what we asked for it was never a bother. Another wonderful person who took care of us in the dining room was Fanny Gonzales. She is a very nice young woman who looks after her passengers.
Our cabin was great. We love balcony cabins so we can enjoy the wonderful sunlight, the view and the fresh air. We do not like air conditioning. The evenings were wonderful with the full moon shining in the sliding balcony door. We were happy with our cabin and the layout.
