We experienced another great cruise on the Carnival Ecstasy. Stayed at the Radisson Resort at Port Canaveral the night before - $110 for the night, cruise parking & free shuttle to and from port for 2 people (better deal than room + port parking fee). Embark and disembark both painless.

First time at Half Moon Cay - will not be my last! Beautiful island. Got up, had leisurely breakfast, walked into lounge at 9:30 for tender ticket, got #28 and was on tender in 10 minutes. BBQ lunch was tasty, especially the jerked chicken and rice. Nassau - we walked to Fort Charlotte (did not pay the $10 entrance fee) and back to the ship while dodging the rain. In Freeport we taxied into Port Lucaya and walked the shops and went to the beach. Water was freezing! Didn't stay too long before heading back to the ship.

Had no problem securing seats on Serenity on the sea day and on return from Freeport. Our room was freezing the entire time on the ship, but the rest of the ship was fine. Had 8:15 dining in Wind Song - other dining room dedicated to YTD. Our first time with Joseph, the super-charged Maitre de - he was awesome! Had great table mates for this trip. This was a nice little getaway!
