NCL has the perfect 7 day itinerary for Hawaii and they waste it with running a poor ship. This is coming from a person who cruises based upon timing and destination. WepPrefer destination type cruising and using the ship as a "floating hotel". Small business owners who enjoys travel and meeting new people. Usually able to go with the flow, but understands customer service and sometimes that smile helps. given that, I would characterize this ship as the older Holiday Inn type hotel with shiny spots throughout. Not a current day low budget hotel in Honolulu but rather it's dated and dirty only in places. Our balcony was full of dirt and hair enough to keep one's shoes on at all times. we had 3 in a room which is very tight. fold out bed is very hard and when I asked for "egg shell" or foam topper, they had none but could give another blanket. Go figure, with a mostly American staff, it wasn't a language barrier.
dining summary:
First evening (Saturday) we dined at J's steak place and food was good. not great so figure that in when deciding to pay the extra charge.
Small average cabin. Balcony very dirty. Bathrooms small. Cabins all the same in thsi line around 8608.
