Boarding was exceptional. We were early though. Sailing was my wife, 2 kids(3&5) and myself.

We arrived 11:15 and were on board 11:30 on lido. No lines anywhere at the time. Hung out at pasta bar until rooms were ready. It was nice and quiet there which helped kids relax.

Overall service was excellent. Very personable staff. They would always return our smiles and remembered our kids. Even the hostess at pasta bar remembered our kids 3 days into cruise from our first day. Then she even went out of her way to get candy for them during her 1/2 day off at port. Cabin staff was very attentive and so were our waiters.

Interior

I have one complaint. But its with carnival not with the dream. We always travel in balconies. This time we booked interior. They said balcony is 185 sq ft and interior is 185 sq ft. That is not true at all. We will take that up with carnival. But where in balcony room u have a couch, table, king beg, vanity, two nightstands and room to walk. In interior we had king bed vanity nightstands and no room to walk. What happened to sitting area. There is no way the rooms are the same size at 185 sq ft. Live and learn but we are never going interior again.
