Eastern Med on Reflection

Sail Date: November 2012
Destination: Europe - Eastern Mediterranean
Embarkation: Venice
Sailed from Venice, embarkation was extremely fast and efficient.

As with all the other Solstice class the layout and decor of the ship was exceptional. The new Sunset Bar was very nice if not a bit chilly in the evenings.

Entertainment was excellent with probably one of the best resident theatre groups that we have seen. The guest entertainers were also of high quality. Only disappointment with the whole entertainment programme was that once the main show had ended there was very little going on for the under 40 age group, felt like the Sky Lounge could have featured maybe some comedy or more live singers.

The reflection unfortunately suffered with propulsion problems throughout the cruise which slightly affected the itinerary with Rhodes being missed and arriving late in other ports but this did not spoil the enjoyment of the ports visited.

Food was of the usual high quality especially in Tuscan Grill and Qsine. Could not have chosen better weather More conditions for November.

Thought drinks prices were very inflated eg bottle of Pacific Rim Riesling $40 on ship $13 in the US.

Overall brilliant cruise and would definitely recommend anybody to sail on her. Less
