We arrived at our hotel the day before embarkation November 4, 2012. We stayed at the Residence Inn Marriot. This hotel was a bit pricey but worth every cent!

Our shuttle arrived the next day at approx. 12pm. The lines were very long outside the cruise terminal and it was so very hot! Finally, once we were inside the terminal, the wait until we finally got on the ship was about 45 minutes. The first thing I noticed was how worn out the carpet looked on the ship. We made sure my father in law made it into his cabin and then we headed straight to the Windjammer. It was so very crowded in there that we had to stand a few minutes before we could find a seat. The food was not good at all. Some of my friends that sailed with us absolutely loved the food. I am from the South and I just could not find much of anything on this entire ship that tasted good. The few foods that stand out that I did enjoy were the Key lime pie(only offered on the last night), Johnny Rockets( highly recommend) and the breakfast buffet. I found the food was very bland. You may choose Sorrentos Pizza on the promenade deck. They are open until 3am. CCL pizza is much better.

If I wrote a full review of everything it would take several pages. I will sum it up as best I can. The coffee on the ship is HORRIBLE! You can opt to buy a cup of Starbucks at the CAFE PROMENADE. They do not open until 7am!
