Imagine our surprise when we received an email from one of our email travel agencies with a cruise deal too hot to miss. I was checking the mail on my lunch hour on October 2nd and spotted the notice of a last-minute sale on a Pacific Northwest Cruise with RCI leaving Seattle, Washington, on October 14th. I got home, told my husband, he said, "Let's go for it!" so we booked the cruise that night. He had called work to clear the deal but I couldn't get a hold of my boss until the next day. I have a great boss. He said it sounded great!! I barely had time to get excited.

We drove from our home on the Oregon coast to Seattle on Monday the 14th and parked our vehicle at the parking lot. We had been there in August on an Alaskan Cruise so we knew right where to go. After checking in our luggage we got in line. I figured with 2500 passengers we would be in line for a long time. Actually it went pretty smooth and it only took an hour and a half and we were in our cabin.

Our balcony cabin was on the port side and was a very nice room. The queen size bed was made. There was a small couch and table. The dressing table was well lit. We had a mini refrigerator. The bathroom was very small but we managed. I would think larger people would need a different bathroom. We only had a shower and bending over to pick up the soap was impossible!! There was plenty of room for storage as the closet was nice size and there was plenty of drawer space at the dressing table. The room was decorated very nicely in gold and navy blue. And of course, a nice size balcony with 2 chairs and a small table. We loved it!!
