Embarkation was a little slow getting on board the ship. The lines queues were too close together when many had big pieces of luggage coming on board. There was little room for them to maneuver their luggage going through the maze between the turnstyles.

The ship looked in good shape, clean and everyone went out of their way to great all the passengers. The decor of the ship was in excellent taste and I was amazed of the ship layout. Most of the activity was located on decks 2,3 & 4 for shopping, shows, the casino and lounge areas. The casino was always busy and the smoke unbearable. You had to walk through it constantly (which was no problem), they just needed a better air system to handle the smoke. I did like the bar area in the casino as well.

The sports bar had no food to offer during any of the Sat or Sun football games. Passengers had to go up to the Lido deck to get food and bring it back down to the 3rd floor. It would have been a good idea for them to offer some kind of refreshments.

Cabin 8E

Our cabin was kept very clean by Ron. We tipped him upfront to keep ice in our cooler, asked for an additional third chair for our balcony and extra towels. Layout of the room was nice, we utilized the couch as the third bed instead of bringing the wall bed. Bathroom was roomy and shower somewhat bigger than our last ship (RCL).
