Ahhhh, I am fresh of the Voyager of the Seas, and we had a wonderful time, this was my first Royal Caribbean Cruise, and I am now able to compare it to my previous 2 carnival cruises, and 1 princess cruise, All these cruises have been taken in the past year and a half, so they are all pretty much in the same time span. There are things I liked and disliked, so I will try to make the best comparisons as I love vacation and nothing ruins it.....

Flew down a day prior to embarkation and stayed in Miami's Sheraton Biscayne Bay, which i got on Hotwire at $65.00 at night the hotel was fine,,, but not worth anything more than 65.00 a night, a cab ride from the hotel to SOuth Beach was 20.00 and to the port of miami was 7.00....

Embarkation day ,,,, What a nightmare, since this was a repositioning cruise, there were I guess a bit more things going on with customs since they would not be returning to the port of miami, needless to say that when we arrived at the port on Sat morn we were unaware of what was about to take place. We arrived at 10:30 am and were checking in at 11am, then we stood in line until almost 1 to get on the ship,,, once we got moving the line really moved. I can say that i was sad that we were not led into the atrium rather on deck 4 to the elevator banks , so the oohs and ahhhs of walking onto this mega liner were dampened. We were on deck 8 cabin 8606 right before the bump out, the cabin was nice and we were very happy to see all the things we preorderd already in the cabin. I can say that this was a cat E1 and i had a BB on Grand Princess that was a bit larger, but the cabin was great . We did get to peak at the royal suite on the last day :) i was not impressed,,,, the junior suites are also very nice on the ship..
