This was a back-to-back 24-day cruise which I regret taking with CARNIVAL and is my last one with CARNIVAL. I have cruised with them five times in the past. This ship is showing its age being only 4 years old.

The odours that came from washrooms -- public and cabins were awful. Men's public hand dryers did not work and were frequently out of soap and smelled terribly! The smell extended out to the public walkways!

The embarkation was a total DISASTER -- terrible organization -- pardon me -- what organization?!?! When asked where we were going, the standard answer was, "We'll let you know when your number is called." without giving any further explanation. The two hour trip that proceeded in a cavalcade of buses from San Diego to Ensenada, Mexico lasted closer to six hours!! We had to wait in the buses at the port for hours while they s-l-o-w-l-y unloaded the 2,000 plus passengers -- one bus at a time! Just in time before sailing. The Jones Act is not a good thing.
