We just returned from a 14 day Panama Canal cruise on Norwegian Pearl 10-28-12. Weather was great! We were assigned room 11022 which was a starboard balcony stateroom located just below the Card Room and Life Style Room on deck 12. We found it to be quiet the entire trip. I would most definitely stay there again. Our room attendant Jerry was very attentive, friendly, efficient and a great asset to NCL. If you have multiple devices to charge we recommend you bring a plug strip (we forgot to take it with us when we left). The room has blackout curtains on the balcony door and another set of curtains between the bed and sofa which helps if one person wants to sleep and the other wants to watch TV. Plenty of drawers and closet space. Hair dryer, coffee maker and robes. Shampoo and shower gel dispensers in the shower and at the sink.

We tried out several of the specialty restaurants and found the food to be excellent. The Garden Cafe, Blue Lagoon and Palace all have very acceptable choices too. Entertainment was abundant with something to do for everyone. Happy hour in Bar City is quite busy on sea days. Loved the trivia because it was our primary source of getting to know our new friends. The staff on the Pearl was the best! I think the Pearl is due to be refurbished and it shows in some of the furniture and carpets. It, however, made no difference to us because it was still beautiful and clean. We like it so much we purchased 2 future stateroom deposits. See you next time on the Epic or Breakaway! Northern Europe is our next destination.

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MB

NCL Pearl stateroom 11022 Starboard forward. Mini suite with balcony. Plenty of drawers and closet space. Several other little shelves and spaces to store stuff. Safe, hair dryer, coffee maker, robes, soap, shower gel and shampoo dispensers. This stateroom has a tub with a removable shower head so you don't have to get your hair wet if you choose. The closet has a hidden light and a drop down shelf. You'll find life jackets on the upper shelf. The balcony has two deck chairs and a small table perfect for watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee. Jerry the room attendant is very knowledgeable about everything on the ship. Don't hesitate asking him anything. NCL is lucky to have him. He'll also bring you softer pillows if that is your preference. The room is located just below the Card Room and it's quiet. Don't be worried about noise. There's a little wear on carpets on furniture, but it's all clean so no complaints here.
