This was my 9th cruise and 6th on Carnival. In the past we have always loved this cruise line until this past cruise. Long lines like cattle to embark then you are given a zone number to sit down and wait till your zone is called out to get on the ship. We got zone 5 and they were calling zone 23. I think they went up to the 40's. So imagine the wait. Once on board we went to our room. First time with a balcony. It was nice until the smokers next door came out onto their balconies. We could only turn out TV on with no changing channels for 3 days until we told our cabin steward. Two mornings we awoke with the AC not working. Then on formal night our room key would not open our door to get ready for that night. Phones did not work on the floors next to elevators. When we found a cabin steward he told us he couldn't help us and we had to go to

Guest services for help. Lines were always 15 to 20 people in line at guest services for issues. All we heard was " we have been in dry dock for 2 weeks". No apologies just that excuse for all the problems. After 2 hrs security came down to our floor, we had to show them our drivers license and finally let into our room.battery needed replaced in door.

Cove Balcony

Cabin 7C

We were in room 2382 cove balcony.

Did not realize we were right below crimson dining room. Oh my gosh it was so loud all the time. Loud clanging and sounds of metal being dropped all hours. Smokers using the balconies beside us making non smokers retreat to their inside staterooms
