This was our first Royal Caribbean cruise and my wife and I brought our 1-year old daughter and my in-laws. It was their first cruise in 20+ years. After a week on Freedom of the Seas, everyone can't wait to do it again. The ship was beautiful, the food was outstanding, the shows (except 1) were great, and we didn't even have enough time to see a third of the ship.

Our only complaint about the ship was the pool policy. Our 1 year old swims with us in the pools in our town and we love taking her in the pool with us. Despite the great pool experience for kids, we didn't know that they would not let us take our baby in the pools with us, even with special swim diapers. They had a TINY baby pool with only 6" of water in it for her and no shade. That was the only negative.

We can't say enough about the quality of the food and the service from our waiters (Ronald and Desmond). The shows were top-notch (except the magic show -- which was NOT great). We loved the surf-rider. The staterooms were larger and more comfortable than we expected. We were very pleased by the "Royal Babies" club they had for our daughter.

Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D3

7314 was a very nice stateroom that can accommodate 3 people. We loved it. The room was larger than we expected and the glass balcony was lovely.
