My family and I (husband, daughter 16; son 12) sailed out of NY on May 5th on the Legend. The embarkation went pretty smooth. We had to wait in line for security about 20 minutes, we were on the ship by 2:00 and having lunch.

The ship itself is in very good shape and clean, the decorations aren't overly gaudy and it was pretty easy to navigate. We had a category 11 suite which was fine for the 4 of us. The extended balcony was perfect and I don't think I'll ever cruise again without one. We also had a full size jacuzzi tub and a double sink in the bathroom which made life a little easier with a teenager. There was ample closet space but they could use some more drawer space. Our cabin steward (Edwin) was great, he made sure we always had exactly what we needed.

We didn't spend a whole lot of time at the pools but they seem to accommodate everyone without a problem. We usually went to the pool where there was no stage so this was a little less crowded. The big disappointment was that the water slide was closed. My son was very upset, he was really looking forward to that.
