We received an e-mail from carnival with an offer for past cruisers that we took advantage of. We drove from northern Arkansas to Galveston. We stayed at Gaidos on sun night [the ship departed on mon.] Gaidos is inexpensive and clean and neat but no frills fine for one night. We were able to leave our car there for free. $13.00 cab to the ship mon. morn.

NOW FOR THE SHIP. It is not new but I was surprised how good of condition this ship is in. Paint in great shape no rust. Carpet clean and not stained up. Somebody was always cleaning and polishing everywhere you went. Some public area furniture shows a little wear but not bad.

NOW FOR THE CREW.The crew on this cruise were great. The room steward Mohammad took great care of us. The waiters were wonderful as usual. The bartenders Mark and Valentina were very friendly and after 1/2 hr seemed like old friends. The crew s were friendly with each other and appeared to be having fun while doing their jobs. A happy crew makes for a happy ship.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin 8D

We had cabin 7391 Balcony aft near stairs and elevators. Typical carnival Balcony cabin, except no fridge. Not at all noisy being near stairs and elevators very convenient location.
