When deciding how to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary it was not very hard to agree on a romantic cruise aboard the Carnival Magic. Our seven day cruise took us into three of the most beautiful Caribbean port of calls, Isla of Roatan, Belize and Cozumel but it was the Carnival Magic that was the crown jewel on this romantic vacation.

From the first step aboard this ship we felt the magic, pardon the pun, entering into the sparkling atrium it was apparent the Carnival designers outdid themselves when they built the Magic.

The color scheme flowed throughout the ship with incredible lights and paintings, the Magic Hat Casino glistened like polished black marble. The food selection was great from deli sandwiches to prime rib, the pizza and hamburgers were only beat by the Oceanside BBQ where they featured mini hamburgers called 'sliders' chicken tacos and quesadillas.

Cove Balcony

This was our first time in a cove balcony and it was awesome. You are only twenty feet off the water so you can hear the waves swoon you to sleep if you prop your deck door open. The cove balcony is a keeper.
