Afternoon flight from Manchester .Everything went smoothly and we landed a few minutes early. Had bit of a wait for the cases. Would be better if they were dedicated flights. Transfer to port was good and the check in was done quickly. We were taken to our cabin and did not have long to wait for our luggage to arrive. Next we had to go for the safety drill on deck 9. After that there was a knock on the door and our cabin Steward introduced herself to us . She kept our cabin up to standard all week and was always very chatty Then it was time for dinner in the Orion restaurant.We were hoping that Gussmardi would be there as he had waited on us on previous cruises. He saw us but did not have a table for us but made sure we had one for us for the rest of the week. Jeremy was his assistant for the first 2nights then he was transferred to Room service. He was a very nice young man who always spoke to us after his transfer if on board or off. We always eat in the evening in the Orion. but normally go to Sirens for breakfast,lunch and afternoon tea. We had Chris as our wine waiter and he was always on the mark with the drinks.

We only went on 1 of the ships tours and that was the city tour of Tangiers and did not rate it at all .The rest of our ports of call we did our own thing which we enjoyed.

The evening entertainment. on ship is very good I think there is something for all tastes We like the Delo bar And this time It was Al Martin playing the piano and singing. The shows in the Broadway theatre are good but the highlight is the crew show. All the crew really work very hard to see that you enjoy your holiday with them .Nothing ever seems to much trouble and they always have a smile and say they are excellent.We went for the drinks package but it really depends on how much you drink or when you book to the cost of it. Bar prices are more like city centre prices in the UK and unlike a lot of companies there is not a service charge added to to it Maybe the Dream is not as modern as a lot of the other companies but the service is there The Dream is just a nice size to get personal service Yes we will sail with Thomson Dream again Read more
