Do your own thing if possible, rent a car and see the island, it makes the stop well worth it.
See the ocean and turtle nesting on the rough side away from the sheep.
Try Albertos Bay for snorkeling and great food and drink, no pressure and clean loos.
The Mayan Ruins on the island are interesting and cover large area, be prepared for a long walk.

Cozumel

Cayman Islands have unfortunately gone down in my estimation. Too many condos and private beach fronts ruin the experience of Seven Mile Beach.
Commercial interests are now front and centre.
Still a great place for the first timer, especially the snorkelling and Sting Ray City.
You can leave the ship and turn left and walk the 7 mile beach, which is not seven miles for an interesting freebie.
Look out for the small people carriers with a green circle on the front, they will pick you up on the side of the road and drop you off at lib for a very small fee, great value. The locals use them all the time. If you here the horn sound when you are walking around - this is the driver asking you if you need a lift.

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

Great experience if you rent a car and see the island. This is a place you could easily sample and then return. Don't let the initial sights put you off.
Great beaches for a small fee and the local seafood was excellent. Come to that so was the local beer.
If you long for the Zip Line, find the extreme offering, quite safe and well looked after. Open your eyes after the first leg!!!!!
This is not the US or Europe, so go with the flow.

Roatan

Cabin was excellent, probably due to the wonderful service provided by the staff. Always clean.

Ports of call for us were great as we do our "own thing" avoiding the customary sheep herding.Met some great people on board from all walks of life.
