We came into Copenhagen the day before and stayed in the Hilton Hotel right at the airport. I was a little nervous if it would be loud but it was not and it was a great hotel to stay in. You don't have to walk outside just go from the gate directly to the hotel. A metro station is right at the airport and it takes you into the center of town. Taxi to the port was 270 crowns which is about 45 $ per Taxi.

Embarkation was just fine, we came to the port around 12 o'clock and we just walked into the ship without waiting at all. We had lunch at the windjammer and it was packed which was normal for the first day. But the food was not good in the windjammer. It was blunt and tasteless and not much varieties to pick. I was disappointed on it. The sad part was, it did not get better during the cruise. This is why we ate at the MDR every night and morning. The food there was not blunt and tasteless, but as someone else said it is the same throughout the cruise line with little variations. We had one night a Russian special night. Which we did not have on a mediterranean cruise. The chefs came by twice to check if we liked the food at the MDR in the evening and this was very nice, so we could tell them if there was something bad. But as I said in the MDR the food was very good. Our waiter Navin was outstanding. He really knew what was good to take and made huge efforts to serve us what we wanted. They even tried to get key lime pie for us but the ship was out of condensed milk and that is why they could not do it. Sad, but they said one container did not make it to the ship in time.

The shows were excellent also and Anna Bass was outstanding. The magician was not my thing, but he tried hard to be good. But the dance couple from Argentina was outstanding also. They danced very, very well. It was amazing just to watch them dance. We also took a Tango Argentia class with them and this was great too. They really gave us a feeling about how to dance it and how you should feel as a couple dancing it. Not just steps but a whole feeling about it. Great!!

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E2

Cabin 8544 has a very tiny bathroom with curtain shower but a little bit of a bigger balcony but you cant see the back of the ship because of that. The cabin was ok, it was old but clean. I would not take it again since you cant see the entire ship from it and when you cruise a fjord you want to see all the way.
