IOS geared up mainly for young & young at heart
Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean
IOS were good in that they kept allocated all 5 balcony cabins close together on deck 7 - cabin facilities were great everything we needed in approx 200sq ft of space! Steward lovely & attentive, waiters (one who sang beautifully for us 3 times)were great. Food was OK for most of our party although little bit more flair wouldn't go amiss.
Rob assistant cruise director was a lovely guy very ably assisting Joff & at all times we met Rob was genuinely nice & helpful.
The ship caters for mainly fun loving young people/families & More middle aged who are young at heart. So if its peace & quiet you want or a quiet swim choose different ship. No proper adult swimming pool just small rest pools that got quite crowded. Gym was good but needed to complement this with proper pool.
Could do with an outside movie screen, and older ones dance floor if that is IOS wants to cater for more mature guests throughout the year. Please IOS do not put smokers next to non-smokers as we couldn't use bsalcony much due to smoke drifting our way from next door.A 4 star experience overall would go again with young family. Less
Cabin review: D2 Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony
Great cabin Queen size bed brilliant shame Balcony use limited & spoilt by next door being smokers (good to allocate separate cabin areas for smokers).Read All Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony (D2) Reviews >>
