Sail Date: Apr 2005

My wife and I took the April 16th cruise to the Eastern Caribbean. This was our third cruise (second on CCL). We met our co-worker and her adult son at MCO around 9:45AM. We had flown in the day before. An hour later we were on the bus. Upon arrival at the port terminal we went through security and took our place in line. The embarkation process ran smoothly considering the number of people in line. A message board behind the counter stated the passenger count was 3,392. We received our sign & sail cards and were on-board before noon.

We proceeded to our balcony room to drop off our carry on's and met "Leo" our steward. I tipped him $20.00 and he couldn't do enough for us. Later that evening when the luggage was delivered we found our's inside the room instead of in the hallway near the door. This ship is beautiful and we found it easy to get around.

The sea was a little "rough" the first two days but nothing unbearable. The crew did their best to keep us comfortable. The Sunday visit to Nassau was short. We went to the casino at Paradise Island and did well. St. Thomas was beautiful. We took the Kon Tiki party raft tour. They dispensed rum punch and took us to a nice beach. Everyone was in a party mood and had a great time. St. Martin was also beautiful. There we took an Island bus tour and short shopping trip. The days at sea (3) were wonderful and the weather cooperated.
