This was my first cruise and also my honeymoon trip. Overall I was very happy too many complaints about this cruise. However, if you are a person who is more sensitive to cold temperatures (like me) you might want to bring a few light sweaters and long pants/skirts with you. For the first few days at sea after leaving Ensenada, the weather was overcast and cold; even after it warmed up as we neared Hawaii, the ship was always well air-conditioned. I had only brought one pair of cold-weather clothing and found myself wearing this every day for the first three days, and for most of the evenings there, and had to take frequent hot showers in order to warm up.

Otherwise, everything on the cruise was excellent. We purchased a window cabin and had it upgraded to a balcony. The beds had goosedown pillows + duvet, the room service and dining service/food selection were excellent, and the staff tried their best to keep us happy. The different parts of the ship were very tastefully decorated. Although most of the cruise goers were of retirement age (which disappointed me a little, since I booked this cruise purposely for its advertised "fun/younger crowd" atmosphere) we were assigned to a table with two other couples in our age range (30s) which was very thoughtful.

While to us it was not a huge impediment, other people had also complained about the bus transfer from San Diego to Ensenada. There was a long delay waiting on the bus in front of the border (over 1 hour) before we could get off + board the ship. However other cruise goers who had been on this cruise before, as well as the staff, told us that this doesn't usually happen.
