We found the embarkation at Ft. Lauderdale to be swift with short lines. Having arrived early we were onboard by 12:30 PM. Like Holland American there are staff to take you to your cabins. I like this as I hate wandering about looking to find the right place I should be. Usual buffet available in Lido area. Lots of choices of so-so food but good if you were hungry.
The ship was a surprise since it was really lovely. Cabin small and bathroom state of the art but really tiny. If you weigh too much you could have a problem in the shower. But it had storage space for toilet items. Closets had lots of hangers and ample space to hang things with drawers and little cubby places. Safe is located being the large mirror over the dressing table. This area also has some storage space.
The pool area is nice because it is divided and in the PM when there were games etc. on one side the other was available for swimming. Lots of lounges available and they never seem to run out of towels. No drinks or food available in the pool area except ice cream in the afternoon. Since the Lido area is close by this should not pose a problem unless you must have a constant supply of "goodies".
