- Destination: Europe River
- Cabin Type: Deluxe Stateroom with Window
I must say that the chef and his staff were delightful and the food was mouth-watering, everyday, from breakfast to our evening meal. The staff was always smiling and acted like they couldn't do enough for us. David, Violetta, and several others were always helpful.
We traveled to Passau, Linz, Melk, Salzberg, Durnstein, Vienna, Bratislava, and Budapest. Everywhere we went, guides were provided. We experienced many interesting places, with lots of history.
We travel through 11 locks, but only saw 2. We were asleep during the other passings. The lock near Budapest was simply amazing.
Every city was more breath-taking than the last; especially Budapest! Our ship traveled to Budapest at night; the whole city, on the hills, were lit up to show visitors the beautiful buildings.
Please book our journey with Viking River Cruises today! You will treasure your journey.
