As first time cruisers we were not sure what to expect, but we had a very good time aboard the Sensation. The crew were all very friendly and helpful. I cannot think of one time were any of the crew got upset or acted rude.

Food: after reading some of the reviews, I wonder if we were on a different ship. Our food was very good. That doesn't mean we liked everything, but we had the chance to eat things we would never order or prepare ourselves. We had the early dining in Ecstasy Dining. I was a bit surprised by the way some people dressed, but the dining attire was listed as "Cruise Casual" for most nights. We didn't see anybody wearing tank tops, bathing suits, or cut off jeans. Casual doesn't mean the same to everybody and nobody seemed that upset over dress code. The service was great and the staff did a fun show near the end of our time every evening. The buffets were good, but if you got there when they opened you did wait. We just arrived later and the food was plentiful with no wait. The ice cream was more like ice milk (not much fat), but we enjoyed several every day. The room service was good. We ordered sandwiches and they came quickly.

Rooms: our room was a good size for us. Our daughter slept on a fold down bunk that she loved. We enjoyed seeing a new towel creation each night.
