Our cruise with the Jewel of the Seas to the Norwegian Fjords, Shetland, Faroe Island and Iceland startet in June. This was my cruise number 20, but the first to the northern Europe.

At the airport in London we were met by representative of RCCL who showed us to the bus that would transport us to the port of Harwich. After approx. 2 hours time, we could finally see the Jewel of the Seas.

Check-in and boarding went quickly and smoothly, and when we were on board we went straight to the Windjammer for lunch. As usual there is a lot of people in the Windjammer the first day, but we quickly found a table and enjoy a delicious lunch. After lunch was eaten, we went to check the cabins. They were on deck 9, and looked very good. Our cabin attendant from Philipins and India did a perfect job on the cruise. Stateroom was always neat, clean, new towel animals and always had a smile and kind words when we met them.
