Travelled on P&O's Oriana for the 1st time and fell in love with this ship (if that's possible). Everything about this ship was great. The food, Entertainment, Service in all restaurants, Bars and cabins. Oriana has the best Cruise Director in John Bartram who was especially entertaining with the stars from Strictly Come Dancing and the BBC. We didn't know when booking that it was a "Strictly Come Dancing Cruise" but as we watch and like the programme we thought why not?
We thoroughly enjoyed all the programmes & dancing relating to the shows and we also had Edwina Currie on board doing her talk on her life in government.
A bit disappointed with the films shown but there was obviously people who enjoyed them as it was mostly full. Terrific cinema for a ship, very comfortable. Every lounge, Bar and show lounge were fantastic and we would highly recommend paying the small supplement for a meal at Marco Pierre White's Ocean Grill as it was wonderful and the food and service was impeccable.
We was in Cabin E119 which was on Ellora deck and was an outside with shower.
We had two wardrobes each plus two large drawers each and a four drawer bedside cabinet each. It also had a couch, desk with a small fridge and TV. Very comfortable beds and kept very clean & tidy.
